When we were younger, our parents took care of our every need. We lived a life where our parents did almost everything for us. They would wake us up in the morning, bathe us, wash, iron our clothes and so on. They would wake us up in the morning, bathe us, wash, iron our clothes and so on. An essential part of being an adult is relieving our parents of the chores mentioned above and taking responsibility for ourselves.
You are going to have to take control of your life. Everyone is accountable for their actions, and it is easy for people to hide under the shadow of other people in a bid to slide under the radar. Persevere and be intentional with your actions while making wise judgments.
The downside to having people continuously provide for you is that it is easy to take them for granted. You feel a great deal of entitlement to whatever they do for you, and you believe that you deserve it. It gets to a point where you don’t even seem to realize that you are being tolerated. Strive for change and work towards it, folks.
These are things you need to do;
Do not quit at the first hurdle.
Don’t shy away from trying something new.
Figure out what is beneficial to you in life.
Keep pushing yourself.
Take a deep look at yourself and pinpoint where change needs to happen.
